Hinchingbrooke House is a beautiful historical building with eight centuries of recorded history and tales of the unexpected from past and present. This venue proved to be the perfect setting for our Mind Body Spirit Events.
Hinchingbrooke house is a Tudor country house built around a 13th century nunnery. It was given by Henry VIII to Richard Cromwell in 1538 (at the time of the Dissolution). King James I was a regular visitor, Queen Elizabeth 1st came here, Samuel Pepys, (The steps in the grounds are known as Pepys steps). The Cromwell family have a history here too. Oliver Cromwell played here as a child. The Montagu family also played an important part in British history and the House remained their ancestral home until the 1960's.
Just taking in the detail in each room is reason enough to visit, but with everything else we offer, we are sure that you will LOVE this venue &event!
